About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Arbutus West Enterprises Ltd o/a Tim Hortons. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality baked goods are produced and delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Production
    • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods to meet customer demand.
    • Ensure all products are of high quality and meet our company standards.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train bakery staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
    • Lead by example and promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor and control waste to minimize costs and environmental impact.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all products are of high quality and meet customer expectations.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
