About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team at Trek Geotechnical Inc. as a Geotechnical Engineering Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in civil engineering and a valid driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials to ensure quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to develop and implement effective solutions for complex geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
