About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Edgewood Health Network Inc. as a Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with clients in our trauma and mood and anxiety programs to provide high-quality case management, clinical treatment, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management, clinical treatment, and advocacy for clients seeking treatment for issues related to substance use, mental health, and occupational and/or interpersonal trauma.
  • Participate actively in treatment team meetings and client-centered care planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the development, implementation, and follow-up of clients' aftercare plans.
  • Contribute to various quality improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Recent clinical experience working with mental health populations.
  • Experience working with clients with PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders, addictions, and eating disorders is an asset.
  • Mental health experience, specifically in trauma, is an asset.
  • Experience working in a live-in or partial-hospitalization mental health and addiction treatment setting is an asset.
  • Excellent documentation and report writing skills.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in mental health and addictions.
