About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Birch Kitchen and Bar. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of service quality
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to minimize waste and optimize profitability
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports to management as required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • English language proficiency
