Garaga Inc. seeks a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team within the Groupe Partenaires division.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive accounting monitoring and validation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare meticulous bank reconciliations, reconcile subsidiary journals with the general ledger, and diligently track fixed assets, prepaids, and accrued expenses.
  • Generate insightful monthly financial statements and analyze variances against budget projections and prior year performance.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to develop comprehensive annual budgets.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) that effectively reflect company activities and progress.
  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.
  • Produce tailored ad-hoc analyses and reports to address specific business needs and inform strategic planning.
  • Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing monitoring of integrated management systems to ensure optimal financial control.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration; CPA designation is highly valued.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting or a related role within a dynamic business environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating strong analytical and data manipulation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within teams and across departments.
  • Demonstrated initiative, autonomy, and versatility in handling diverse financial tasks and responsibilities.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential for clear and concise communication.
