Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage and develop a repair plan.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, using high-quality materials and techniques.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces, using a variety of colors and finishes to match the original specifications.
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to ensure a perfect match.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, ensuring a seamless finish.
Requirements
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
