About the Role

This is a part-time Housekeeping position at CB Canada, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning and sanitization duties in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, general cleanup, vacuuming, debris removal, and waxing of floors.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety procedures and using required safety equipment.
  • Identify and report any trip or fall hazards, ensuring hallways and access routes are free of debris and waste.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees and management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including those related to licensing, health and safety, and security.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent working experience and education.
  • One or more years of experience in a related field, preferably in housekeeping or a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the relevant regulatory body.

Work Environment

This role requires a flexible schedule that adapts to the business needs of a 24-hour operation, with non-traditional work hours including evening and weekend shifts.
