About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Coach to join our team at DCS Fitness & Martial Arts LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our coaching staff and developing and implementing training programs for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive training programs for our athletes, including developing well-planned competitive schedules and programs.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to our athletes, including planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions.
  • Team Management: Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games, and lead our coaching staff to ensure a high level of performance.
  • Certifications and Compliance: Ensure that all coaching staff and athletes meet the necessary certifications and compliance requirements, including martial arts instructor certification, basic security clearance, and child abuse registry checks.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with athletes, coaching staff, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in coaching or a related field.
  • Work Setting: Urban area with access to a suitable training facility.
  • Personal Suitability: Leadership, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
