About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team at Dow Chemical Canada ULC. As a Material Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the acquisition, scheduling, and distribution of materials, supplies, and service requisitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter materials, tools, and equipment requests via SAP and other procurement systems.
  • Communicate status updates on orders, including any issues with delayed delivery.
  • Coordinate the disposition of surplus materials and initiate system updates as needed.
  • Monitor and track materials, tools, and equipment orders upon receipt.
  • Prepare requisitions for off-site resources and outside maintenance, as needed.
  • Arrange materials, tools, and equipment for easy identification and pickup.
  • Gather information and input into maintenance measures and KPIs, using metrics to measure coordination tasks and develop actions to improve the process.
  • Communicate vendor performance to procurement services.
  • Work closely with procurement, coding, planning, scheduling, and work coordination to provide seamless execution of the Global Management Work Process.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 or more years of industry experience.
  • The ability to work legally in Canada, with no visa sponsorship or support available for this position.
