Job Summary:

Nipissing University is seeking a qualified instructor to teach a course in the School of Physical and Health Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction and evaluating student performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in the assigned course
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Meet with students outside of class to provide additional support
  • Complete mandatory training requirements and review university policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • PhD in a health science-related discipline (preferred)
  • Master's Degree in a health science-related discipline
  • Deep knowledge of parametric and nonparametric statistical theory and application with respect to human health and physical activity
  • Previous teaching experience at a post-secondary institution (asset)
