Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Sarnia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on various equipment, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and pumps, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on Wet Vacuum, Dry Vacuum, High Pressure Units, and Highway tractors and trailers
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, after treatment/emissions, hydraulic systems, and pumps
  • Troubleshoot issues, inspect equipment, and replace or repair defective parts
  • Interpret work orders and complete tasks accordingly
  • Participate in daily tool box and safety meetings

Requirements

  • Certified Journeyman 310T Heavy Equipment Technician
  • Valid Class G licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years
  • Valid Class AZ or DZ license is an asset
  • CVIP licence is an asset
  • Weight handling of up to 50 lbs
  • Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an asset
  • Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Able to provide own tools
