About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at Canadian Solar SSES (Canada) Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for process enhancements and cost savings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in accounting software and systems.
