About the Role

FOLKS ELECTRIC is seeking a skilled Construction Electrician Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist skilled tradespersons in various locations, including construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Site Preparation: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assistance: Assist skilled tradespersons in various tasks, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 35 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English is the primary language used for communication on the job site.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job, providing opportunities for growth and development.
  • Panjabi; Punjabi is an asset language.
