Job Title: Construction Electrician Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Electrician Helper to join our team at GT Electricals and Maintenance Services. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist electricians in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to job sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and assist electricians in completing tasks.
  • Clean and lubricate cranes and other equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as needed.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced electricians.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to ensure a clean and safe working area.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Work under pressure to meet project timelines.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Work in a team environment with a focus on client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
