Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle
  • Operate and maintain vehicle, including performing brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
  • Communicate with central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, with various locations and routes. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety and security of cargo.
