Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily retail store operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. In the absence of the Store Manager, this role assumes the Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and staff management.
- Contribute to store merchandizing, shelf stocking, and daily shipments.
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve escalated issues.
- Train, coach, and develop employees.
- Perform cash management, store opening, and closing duties as needed.
- Assign tasks to the team.
- Ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Conduct managers on duty tasks, including daily breaks, time, and attendance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandizing standards based on company strategy.
- Responsible for the hiring and performance management process.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the retail industry.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a team management position.
- Open availability required (day, evening, weekend).
- Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities.
- Good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-volume environment.
