Role Overview

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Order Selector:

You will play an essential role in ensuring that all finished goods meet our stringent company standards and are customized to specific customer requests. Your responsibilities will include inspecting product characteristics such as height, shape, color, and consistency to ensure they conform to the provided specifications. Furthermore, you will assist in cutting and preparing orders to fulfill the unique needs of our clientele. Your tasks will encompass conducting quality checks, removing defective items from pallets or boards, and substituting them with quality products. Duties may vary based on the product and process assigned to you.

Key Duties:

Conduct comprehensive inspections of finished goods to ensure adherence to company standards, including assessments of height, shape, color, and consistency. Cut and prepare products in accordance with specific customer orders, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Execute quality checks and eliminate defective pieces from pallets or boards, replacing them with quality items. Assist in various operational tasks, including forklift operation, pallet repair, and general yard support. Consistently utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and uphold safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to support team objectives and operations.

Required Qualifications

Ability to read and understand basic instructions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately. Proficiency in writing simple memos and reports to facilitate clear communication. Strong verbal communication skills, with the capability to effectively give and receive instructions, share safety information, and collaborate in small group settings. Ability to perform essential duties in line with company standards, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability to operate various machinery, including forklifts. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to effectively manage situations as they arise.
