Administrative Officer

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at 2439033 Ontario Inc. As an Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support
- Provide administrative assistance to senior staff members, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events.
- Office Management
- Oversee the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment, including ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and services, including procurement and inventory control.
- Coordinate office moves, renovations, and other projects.
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies to create a welcoming work environment for all employees.
- Provide training and support to employees on diversity and inclusion issues.
- Collaborate with senior staff to develop and implement policies and procedures related to diversity and inclusion.
- Human Resources
- Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Provide support with employee onboarding, including preparing welcome packages and conducting orientation sessions.
- Manage employee records, including personnel files and benefits administration.
- Communication
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep employees informed about company news, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and disseminate company-wide communications, including newsletters, memos, and announcements.
- Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 5 years or more of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
