About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at 2439033 Ontario Inc. As an Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative assistance to senior staff members, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events.
  • Office Management
    • Oversee the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment, including ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Manage office supplies, equipment, and services, including procurement and inventory control.
    • Coordinate office moves, renovations, and other projects.
  • Diversity and Inclusion
    • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies to create a welcoming work environment for all employees.
    • Provide training and support to employees on diversity and inclusion issues.
    • Collaborate with senior staff to develop and implement policies and procedures related to diversity and inclusion.
  • Human Resources
    • Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
    • Provide support with employee onboarding, including preparing welcome packages and conducting orientation sessions.
    • Manage employee records, including personnel files and benefits administration.
  • Communication
    • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep employees informed about company news, policies, and procedures.
    • Prepare and disseminate company-wide communications, including newsletters, memos, and announcements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
