About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Designer to join our team. As a Firmware Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing low-level software required to control the DSP assisted coherent optical modem. You will also develop all the tools and interfaces required to support the integration, test, and verification of the product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement firmware control loops.
- Participate in product evolution by providing innovative solutions.

Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $24.50-$33.00/hour.
Pay ranges at Ciena Canada, Inc. are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
In addition to competitive compensation, Ciena Canada, Inc. offers employees access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company-paid holidays, paid sick leave, and vacation pay as required by applicable laws.
