Position Overview:
The Inventory Control Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and coordinating various inventory management functions to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves generating reports to track inventory adjustments across the retail framework.

Key Responsibilities:
- Compile weekly reports to assist the Purchasing team in monitoring pending purchase orders
- Engage with suppliers regarding delayed shipments and order inconsistencies
- Support monthly cycle count communication and provide store assistance to ensure adherence to protocols
- Organize, schedule, and disseminate the annual cycle count timetable for retail and warehouse locations
- Review and update monthly cycle counts performed by retail and warehouse sites
- Encourage proper execution of Inventory Count procedures through various communication channels and reports
- Track and follow up with retail locations that have not submitted necessary monthly cycle counts
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure accuracy in reported variances
- Generate and audit store adjustment reports
- Examine general inventory shrinkages and recommend strategies to mitigate profit loss
- Evaluate and suggest enhancements to business processes as needed
- Document and distribute Inventory Control procedures for field and head office reference
- Provide general support to the Purchasing and Reverse Logistics teams
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business or Supply Chain Management
- A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in supply chain and/or retail management
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive approach
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in developing inventory processes and procedures
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
- Understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting
- Solid foundational knowledge of Supply Chain, Planning, Inventory Control, and purchasing in a corporate environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Familiarity with POS systems (RQ, SAP, etc.)
- Fluency in English and French is preferred
