Job Title: Greenhouse Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Millennium Pacific Greenhouses. As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the greenhouse environment, including pruning, weeding, and fertilizing plants.
  • Assist in the harvesting and packaging of crops, including tomatoes and other hydroponic horticultural products.
  • Monitor and report any signs of insect or disease damage to crops.
  • Perform manual labour tasks, such as mixing fertilizers and preparing soils.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Reliability and efficiency in completing tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.

Work Environment:

Our greenhouse is located in a rural area and operates in a fast-paced environment. The work site environment includes working outdoors, at heights, and in wet/damp conditions. The work setting is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.
