Job Title: Financial Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planner to join our team at TD Wealth. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to our clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial needs assessments and develop personalized financial plans for clients
  • Provide ongoing financial planning and investment advice to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Financial Planning diploma from the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) or equivalent
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or CFA Level 1 (or higher) certification
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in wealth management or investment planning
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve clients in the community
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CIRO license (required within first 90 days in role)
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role
  • Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, and economic market issues
