About the Role

Forest View Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our psychiatric team on a weekend shift. As a Weekend Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

Qualifications

  • Current license to practice nursing in the state of Michigan (or eligible to receive or renew)
  • Current CPR or BLS certification
