About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Form Carpenter to join our team at Rooster Construction. As a Form Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and install formwork in accordance with building codes and regulations, using measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create precise and durable formwork.
  • Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems, ensuring a strong and stable structure.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the formwork.
  • Maintain and repair existing formwork and structures, including residences, wooden structures, and other buildings.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in form carpentry or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and safe formwork installation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
