Position Summary
What is the opportunity?
As a Financial Solutions Specialist at RBC, you will develop personalized investment strategies for both potential and current clients. You will have the advantage of working within a supportive network that provides client referrals, allowing you to focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional financial advice. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to achieving investment sales will empower you to assist clients in reaching their financial aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customized financial planning guidance utilizing a comprehensive range of investment and portfolio options, including top-tier proprietary and select third-party mutual fund offerings.
- Attract and consolidate both existing and new clients and their assets.
- Facilitate connections between clients and appropriate RBC team members to ensure ongoing support for their needs.
- Expand external business referral networks through effective networking, marketing initiatives, and leveraging your personal connections.
What qualifications are required?
Essential Requirements
- Possession of a Financial Planning Designation (PFP, CFP, or QAFP).
- Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning.
- Demonstrated skills in networking and client acquisition.
- Ability to foster strong partnerships.
- Proficiency in digital tools and mobile applications.
