Job Summary

Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer Officer to join our team on an offshore drilling rig. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the rig's main engines, machinery, and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engine Room Operations: Operate and maintain the rig's main engines, machinery, and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the engine room crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitoring and Record-Keeping: Monitor the performance of engines, machinery, and auxiliary equipment, and maintain accurate records and reports on engine performance and failures.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 2190 hours per year.
