Business Systems Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at People Corporation. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing functional and non-functional requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.
  • Analyze and map business processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired future states, providing recommendations and actionable plans to bridge these gaps.
  • Work closely with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, business requirements documents, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Support change management efforts by providing training, creating user guides, and facilitating workshops to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and proposing innovative solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role, with experience in the Group Benefits industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and experience with MS Suite, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint required.
