Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure cleanliness and safety within our premises. This role is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Setting: Office buildings and various locations.
  • Job Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors, hallways, and stairs.
  • Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to effectively remove dirt, debris, and refuse.
  • Regularly empty trash receptacles and waste containers.
  • Coordinate with contractors for necessary repairs and maintenance of the facility.
  • Conduct safety and security inspections.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms and fixtures.
Experience Required

Prior experience in cleaning services is preferred.
