We seek an experienced individual to assist with the daily upkeep and maintenance of our campground facilities. For those interested, accommodations for your RV can be arranged on-site.
This seasonal position is ideal for individuals who thrive outdoors. Reporting to the Campground Maintenance Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service and maintaining a clean, welcoming campground. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in building maintenance (including plumbing and electrical work) and landscaping, along with a professional demeanor and the ability to handle various maintenance tasks.
Key Qualifications:
- A friendly disposition, with previous experience in campgrounds or the tourism sector being a plus.
- Strong craftsmanship and outstanding customer service skills, demonstrating pride in your work.
- Experience with operating tractors and landscaping tools is advantageous.
- Proficiency in painting, minor mechanical repairs, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues.
- Physically capable of walking up to 5 km daily, lifting up to 50 lbs safely, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with management and team members.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Employment Details:
This is a full-time, seasonal role with opportunities for returning each year.
Compensation:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience. An RV site may be available at a reduced rate.
