Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor at Port Hardy Town Pantry plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our retail environment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within a retail setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to sales associates.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory by ordering merchandise as needed.
  • Authorize the return of products as per company policy.
  • Create and manage work schedules for team members.
  • Engage in direct sales activities to meet customer needs.
  • Compile and analyze reports related to sales performance, inventory management, and staffing.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply chain issues effectively.
  • Maintain organized inventory systems to ensure product availability.
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the retail team.
