Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product recommendations to meet customer needs.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts and supplies, and maintain accurate records on inventory control systems.
- Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, supply area, and warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Sales and Merchandising: Set up displays of retail parts and accessories, and advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions, process incoming requisitions, and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Computer Skills: Inventory control software and internet skills required.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, pallet lifters, and other equipment experience an asset.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and standing for extended periods.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, maturity, and punctuality.
