Maintenance Manager

Aurora Cannabis is seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, and for leading our maintenance and engineering teams to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Establish maintenance schedules, protocols, and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain a strategic capital investment plan to support the long-term growth and sustainability of the organization.
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance and engineering professionals to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance and engineering roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance programs, executing engineering projects, and leading capital investment initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with experience in project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and best practices in maintenance and engineering.
