Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise financial management activities, including thorough analysis and control measures
- Examine and confirm the accuracy of vendor and consultant invoices
- Administer cost codes and ensure accurate billing practices
- Generate timely and precise cost-plus invoices
- Address billing discrepancies and issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver financial updates
- Conduct regular financial reviews and reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable functions
- Maintain the integrity of financial records related to projects
- Prepare financial reports and analyses for stakeholders
- Support the budgeting process and financial forecasting
- Coordinate with auditors during the annual audit process
- Assist the District Finance team in various improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in project accounting
- Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities
- Familiarity with project management and delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel as required
