Your technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and project management expertise will be essential as you design and oversee field initiatives, gather, manage, and analyze environmental data, prepare technical documentation, provide expert guidance, and contribute to the growth of the aquatic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:
  1. Provide technical leadership to ensure the delivery of superior aquatic science and data collection services.
  2. Support projects from initial proposal through to final reporting.
  3. Plan and conduct field evaluations adhering to industry standards and compile reports for diverse projects.
  4. Lead field initiatives across various regions, ensuring technical precision, safety, and quality in all outputs.
  5. Collaborate effectively with junior, intermediate, and senior personnel, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
  6. Act as the technical lead for all aquatic initiatives, including the preparation, design, and execution of work plans.
  7. Establish methodologies for water quality monitoring and sampling, oversee these programs, analyze findings, and draft summary reports.
  8. Organize and execute aquatic baseline assessments, operational and compliance monitoring programs, and aquatic impact evaluations, including study design, data analysis, and reporting.
  9. Deliver high-quality, well-structured technical reports punctually and within budget constraints.
  10. Compile, manage, and interpret environmental data effectively.
  11. Assist in the preparation of permit applications, environmental assessments, and management plans.
Qualifications:
  1. Registered Professional Designation Required, such as P.Bio or R.P. Bio.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing both small and large-scale fisheries studies and developing management reports.
  3. Proven experience in environmental assessment.
  4. Expertise in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
