About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at JAKU CONSTRUCTION. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Operating Heavy Equipment: Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assisting in Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing debris from the construction site.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Noisy and dusty work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Construction site.
