Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at JAKU CONSTRUCTION. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, operating heavy equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Clean and lubricate cranes
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Perform routine maintenance work

This is a permanent position with a 32-35 hour workweek. The work site environment is noisy and dusty. The work setting is a construction site.
