About the Opportunity

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Fund Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for preparing investment accounting entries and completing fund reporting. Your expertise in fund accounting and financial reporting will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare investment accounting entries and complete fund reporting
  • Oversee and review the month-end/quarter-end accounting close process
  • Improve upon processes and create operational efficiencies, ensuring scalability and compliance with financial and operational controls
  • Update documentation of policies and operational procedures manuals
  • Prepare financial statement note and reporting schedule for quarter-end and year-end
  • Assist in process improvement
  • Assist with internal and external audit as required
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Fund Reporting Manager with a strong background in fund accounting and financial reporting. Your expertise in asset management or financial services operations will be essential in ensuring the success of our team.

  • 8+ years of experience in fund accounting or fund financial reporting
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • Experience in Fund Accounting
  • Experience in asset management or financial services operations
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting
  • Accounting designation is an asset
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong communications skills
  • Attention to detail, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
