Job Summary

As a Senior Financial Reporting Manager at SS&C Technologies Canada Corp., you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing financial statements for investment funds. With a strong background in accounting and finance, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and Canadian ASPE standards. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing guidance to junior team members and leading special projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare interim and annual financial statements for investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and mutual funds.
  • Review financial statements prepared by junior team members for accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with internal parties, auditors, and investment fund managers during financial statement preparation and audit.
  • Share expertise and provide recommendations to clients on financial reporting requirements.
  • Lead and participate in special projects, providing training and oversight to junior team members.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in preparing, reviewing, or auditing financial statements for investment funds.
  • 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently, under pressure, and with attention to detail to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional accounting designation (preferred).
