About the Role
- Conduct maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of CNC and various industrial machinery
- Design and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Repair and install wood processing machinery with electrical expertise
- Perform tasks independently and effectively
- Assist in production line changeovers and setups
- Maintain ownership of a complete set of tools for job tasks
- Interpret technical documents and schematics
- Identify necessary equipment parts and create purchase requests
- Collaborate efficiently within a team environment
- Proactively address problem-solving as needed
Requirements
- Licensed Millwright with certification from Ontario
- Expertise in Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Pipefitting, and Welding
- In-depth knowledge of CNC and servo systems
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Background in machine shops
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
