We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Relief Receptionist to join our team at YWCA Toronto. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Greet visitors and redirect them to the appropriate staff or program.
- Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other interactions.
- Ensure the reception area is welcoming and well-maintained.
- Receive and distribute incoming supplies and other deliveries for the Elm Centre Administrative Office.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Office Co-ordinator or Manager of Administration.
- Completion of high school, including technical or commercial training in relevant fields directly related to the job.
- 1-3 years of directly related work experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and administrative abilities.
- Ability to deliver culturally sensitive service in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to maintain a positive approach and a professional manner at all times.
- Knowledge of a second language is an asset.
