Meat Processing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Meat Processing Specialist to join our team at J & D Food Services. As a key member of our meat processing team, you will be responsible for cutting and packaging meat products to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Cut beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing, or packaging.
- Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use.
- Remove bones from meat.
Our meat processing and packing plant/establishment is a cold/refrigerated environment that requires standing for extended periods and physical demands. You will be working with knives and handling weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but we will provide training.
- English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- 40 hours per week, permanent position.
