About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spanish teacher to join our team at the University of Ottawa. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for teaching Spanish language and culture courses to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Spanish language and culture courses to students, including grammar, literature, and ELE didactics.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum materials.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement academic programs.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of academic policies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Spanish language and literature or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a university setting.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, and English.
  • Strong educational background in Spanish language and teaching.
