About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Horton Family. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Household Support: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account our clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medication.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home.
