Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Prepare summaries of food orders for the chef.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
- Supervise and mentor team members.
- Assist in formulating unit policies and procedures.
The position requires the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
