Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Global Launch and Operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the launch and operation of our global satellite network, Telesat Lightspeed.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Global Launch and Operations Team: Manage a team of managers and individual contributors to ensure the successful launch and operation of Telesat Lightspeed.
- Develop and Implement Launch Plans: Create and execute comprehensive launch plans, including defining and tracking key metrics, progress, and milestones.
- Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, sales, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of launch activities.
- Drive Business Process Optimization: Identify and implement strategic avenues for business process optimization and simplification, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
- Manage Vendor Relationships: Establish and maintain effective relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure successful launch and operation of Telesat Lightspeed.
- Develop and Manage Budgets: Create and manage budgets for launch and operation activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in program/project management, business requirements, process definition, and change management.
- Education: University degree in a relevant discipline.
- Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prioritize opportunities, needs, and resources, and ability to thrive in a dynamic company that is growing.
