Adult Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) in our community.
About the Role:- Provide psychiatric services to clients with SPMI in a community-based setting
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of clients with complex mental health needs
- Collaborate with community partners and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in educational activities and academic teaching appointments
- FRCP(C) in Psychiatry and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Experience in psychiatric specialties (adult psychiatry, addictions, SPMI)
- Commitment to community-based services
- Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to social and cultural diversity
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and various database software
- Valid driver's license and own transportation
