We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services Identity and Access Management (AWS IAM). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating high-throughput, reliable, distributed systems on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex system components with an uncompromising bar on quality.
- Lead the design or architecture of new and existing systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members in growing their craft.
- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- 4+ years of highly scalable systems experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
