Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skincare Specialist to join our team at Rennai, a luxury beauty destination dedicated to providing exceptional self-care experiences. As a Skincare Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized customer service, building strong relationships with our valued clientele, and promoting our luxury skincare products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Build trust with customers by actively listening, maintaining self-awareness, and demonstrating genuine care and empathy in a warm and professional manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Offer elevated self-care services and client experiences to our customers.
  • Expert Product Knowledge
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of our luxury skincare product lines, including their ingredients, benefits, and usage instructions.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest skincare trends, techniques, and scientific advancements to deliver accurate and relevant advice to customers.
  • Skincare Consultations
    • Conduct thorough skincare consultations, assessing skin type, condition, and lifestyle factors, to understand customers' unique needs, concerns, and goals, and provide tailored skincare recommendations.
    • Offer product samples to customers, showcasing their effectiveness and benefits.
  • Goals
    • Consistently achieve department goals by effectively communicating the unique value of our luxury beauty products and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Utilize solid interpersonal skills to upsell and cross-sell products, ensuring customers have a comprehensive beauty experience tailored to their preferences.
    • Represent our luxury beauty retailer with pride and professionalism by embodying the brand's values, authenticity, and esthetic through personal grooming and style.
    • Embrace a growth mindset by staying up-to-date with industry developments, attending product trainings, and participating in brand events.
    • Share knowledge with fellow team members, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and positive work environment.
    Requirements
    • 1+ years of experience in Retail Sales, Client Service, and Beauty Industry.
    • High school diploma.
    • Passion for the beauty industry and interest in skincare.
    • Exceptional active listening, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
    • Self-motivated and inspired, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
    Bonus Points
    • Proven experience as a Skincare Specialist, Beauty Consultant, or similar role in a luxury/beauty retail environment.
    • Extensive knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, techniques, and trends, as well as an understanding of various skin types, conditions, and concerns.
    • In-depth knowledge of the luxury beauty market, including emerging trends and customer preferences.
