Job Summary: Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Medicine Physician to join our team as a Hospitalist at St. Mary's Hospital in Camrose, Alberta.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient care to patients requiring hospitalization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Participate in code blue situations and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Opportunities to practice Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Chemotherapy Clinics available for candidates with relevant experience.

Requirements:

  • Valid license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta or eligibility to license through the CPSA.
  • Recent and relevant experience with inpatients, including experience with medical patients and surgical patients.
  • Canadian College of Family Physicians (CCFP) certification preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course taken and renewed within the previous two years.
