Job Title: Family Medicine Locum

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Family Medicine Physician to provide clinic and walk-in services in a community setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, acute care, and chronic disease management
  • Conduct physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)
  • Current certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful SHA credentialing, including reference checks and a criminal record check with vulnerable sector
  • Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada
